Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Etienne Camilleri, a self-employed sole trader in Malta, trading as Ledgerol ("we", "us"), the operator of Ledgerol. By creating an account or continuing to use Ledgerol you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What Ledgerol is

Ledgerol is a personal net worth tracking tool. You enter your own balances and holdings and we show totals, history and allocation. Ledgerol is not a bank, does not hold, move or invest money, does not connect to your bank, and does not execute trades.

2. No financial advice

All information in Ledgerol, including market prices, is for general information only. It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Market prices may be delayed, end-of-day or estimated, and may be inaccurate. Your decisions are your own responsibility; consult a qualified professional before acting.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• You keep ownership of the data you enter. You give us a limited licence to store and process it only to provide the service.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including: using it unlawfully; fraud or spam; infringing anyone's intellectual property; uploading malware; probing, scanning or testing our systems' security; scraping; reverse engineering; reselling access; or circumventing plan limits.

5. Intellectual property

We own Ledgerol and all related software, documentation, design and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your plan.

6. Plans, payment and subscriptions

Ledgerol has a free plan and a paid Pro plan billed monthly or yearly. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from Settings and keep Pro until the end of the paid period.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

7. Service availability

We work to keep Ledgerol running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The service is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can delete your account anytime in Settings; your data is then permanently deleted.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses (such as loss of profits, data or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under the law of Malta or the EU, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material we will notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Disputes go to the courts of Malta, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence.
